SCOPE

“Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: Nanostructured materials application and innovation transfer” has been published regularly, since 2001. The journal is the official journal of the National Coordination Council on Nanotechnologies (NCCNT), established at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

During the period 2001-2008, the issues were published by Heron Press as science book series. In 2008 the periodic “Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: Nanostructured materials application and innovation transfer” passed the evaluation process and was accepted for referencing in Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) data bases. Since 2015 year the “Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: Nanostructured materials applications and innovation transfer” is appearing twice in a year in the end of June and November. Since 2021 "Nanotechnology: Nanostructured materials application and innovation transfer" obtained its ISSN online.

“Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: Nanostructured materials application and innovation transfer” represents original works in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnologies, which have been reviewed by experts in respective field. The revision process is single-blind review. The papers accepted for publication in the journal included: theoretical studies such as modeling of processes for nanomaterials production and simulations of nanostructure design and properties; as well as experimental investigations in many areas of nanotechnology- thin films, multi-layered structures, nanocomposites, nanophases in bulk materials, bio-nano products and processes, micro- and nano-engineering, etc. Papers concerning hot topics of the day in the field of nanotechnology and nanosociety in Bulgaria and all around the world are also welcome.
